Nourish Your Skin

Our products are made with natural and organic ingredients that nourish your skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple. All the ingredients that I use in my soaps are picked for the benefits of your skin.  These include mango butter, shea butter and cocoa butter.

Benefits of Shea Butter

Unrefined organic shea butter is renowned for its hydrating qualities, and its thick, rich texture is suitable even for facial use. With a comedogenic rating of 0 to 2, it is unlikely to clog pores or cause breakouts.

Shea butter is rich in vitamins A, E, K, and F.

Its efficacy as a moisturizer comes from its abundance of fatty acids, which are crucial for maintaining skin moisture and elasticity. The high fatty acid content also renders shea butter a valuable component in soaps, shampoos, anti-aging creams, cosmetics, lotions, and massage oils, as it has a soft, buttery texture that absorbs easily into the skin.

Shea butter acts as an emollient, softening and hydrating the skin with fatty acids like linoleic, oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids. These contribute to strengthening the skin's natural barrier and enhancing moisture retention.

It absorbs into the skin, leaving it soft and smooth, and is highly therapeutic, known to repair cracked, aged, and damaged skin, and to aid in the healing of bruises, scars, and stretch marks.

Shea butter is not only softening and conditioning but also offers soothing, anti-inflammatory, and protective benefits.

Benefits of Coconut Oil

Discovering the benefits of coconut oil soaps can be a revelation for skin care, as they nourish the skin with essential nutrients, promoting a radiant complexion. These soaps not only serve as excellent moisturizers for skin and hair but also facilitate the removal of dead skin cells and impurities. Their properties can help in reducing acne, while the rich antioxidant content firms the skin, contributing to a youthful appearance. Coconut oil forms a protective moisturizing barrier, offers a rich lather in cold-process soap making, and is beneficial for conditions like eczema and acne. Additionally, it aids in reducing inflammation, healing the skin, and possesses antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties.

Benefits of Mango Butter

Organic mango butter is excellent for dry skin due to its natural moisturizing qualities and is typically suitable for sensitive skin. A study in 2008 concluded that mango butter is outstanding for nourishing and hydrating the skin.

Rich in vitamin A, fatty acids, and minerals, mango butter promotes healthy hair by keeping it well-moisturized and shielded.

It retains moisture and healthy oils with minimal risk of pore blockage, having a comedogenic rating of 2. It is also less greasy compared to alternatives like shea or cocoa butter.

Mango Butter, as an emollient, is softer than Cocoa Butter but shares similar moisturizing and healing benefits. It's commonly applied to sun-damaged skin and can be incorporated into various cosmetic products, from lip balms to body creams. Being firmer than some other butters, it's perfect for crafting thicker creams. It's high in Stearic and Oleic acids and abundant in vitamins A, C, and E.

Benefits of Cocoa Butter

All-natural cocoa butter is readily absorbed by the skin and is frequently used for hydration and moisturizing, thanks to its high content of fatty acids. It's also favored for lip care to form a protective barrier. However, due to its relatively high comedogenic rating, it is not advisable for acne-prone skin as it may block pores. While unrefined cocoa butter is commonly utilized for its moisturizing qualities, there is no scientific proof to substantiate claims that it can prevent or diminish stretch marks.

Benefits of Kaolin Clay

Kaolin clay removes toxins and dirt, absorbing excess oil and impurities from the pores, leading to their unclogging and revealing the skin's natural glow. Additionally, Kaolin clay is beneficial for various skin concerns, including redness, irritation, acne, and dryness.

Benefits of Charcoal

Charcoal soap is beneficial for absorbing excess oil, dirt, product residue, and harmful bacteria from the skin, which are major contributors to common breakouts. Additionally, charcoal acts as an anti-inflammatory by absorbing agents that cause skin inflammation, thereby preventing redness and resulting in cleaner, clearer skin.

Benefits of Seaweed

Seaweed is rich in vitamins K, B, A, and E, which are beneficial for enhancing skin tone, texture, and elasticity. Being high in Vitamin C, it contains natural antioxidants that support collagen production, aiding in plumping the skin and smoothing out fine lines. Additionally, its abundance of humectants makes seaweed valuable for hydrating the skin and retaining moisture.

Benefits of Oats and Agave nectar

Oatmeal serves as a natural cleanser, with saponins that function as a gentle soap. It cleanses and exfoliates dead skin cells, leaving the skin fresh and rejuvenated. Oatmeal soap is beneficial for managing eczema and psoriasis, providing moisture and easing itching and irritation. Known for minimizing pores, natural oatmeal soap is effective in acne treatment and prevention as part of a skincare regimen.

Topically applied agave nectar moisturizes the skin, alleviates inflammation, and firms sagging skin. As a vegan alternative to honey, agave offers the same texture, fragrance, and appearance while being entirely plant-derived.

Sensitive Skin

Our gentle, fragrance-free products are ideal for those with sensitive skin, offering relief and comfort. The butters we incorporate, including mango butter, shea butter, and all-natural cocoa butter, are all highly beneficial for your skin.
